Lot 3176 1, 1847 5c Red brown, horizontal pair, tied to cover with red grid cancels and matching "New York Jun 29" postmark, addressed to Mount Vernon, Ohio, left 5c stamp has four margins, three ample (left side edge margin with selvage), bottom side close at bottom, right stamp has nice margins all around, only barely cutting in at lower right and light vertical creases from file fold, cover has some minor soiling, mostly on back and some splitting along folds, overall Fine (Scott $1,100)
