There is a 3/3/xx 5c cover from Baltimore to Philadelphia to the same addressee. The red grid cancel is unusual on a Baltimore 1847 issue cover.
The cancel looks like a NYC red square grid cancel and the stamp may have been added to an otherwise stampless cover
Reese D. Fell and his brother, Penrose Fell, were tailors located at 62 Chestnut in Philadelphia (1848 McElroy). Adeline J Thomas is not listed in any edition of McElroy's in the 1847 era,
