Lot 1395 1847, 5¢ orange brown, four large even margins on deeply blued paper, sharp impression with beautiful color, cancelled by red circular grid on light blue 1850 folded letter to Springfield Mass., matching "Boston '5cts' 22 May" cds, ms. "Paid" endorsement, two vertical folds with hint of toning, Very Fine, a gorgeous stamp.
