Similar to cover ID 8704 in the census (written in the same hand, similar envelope), which is a probable 1851 cover based on this one.
CDS: Double struck (or more, count the number of rings at the bottom). Letter was mailed from NY city on Feb 26th or 28th. Given the front docketing of Feb 25th, I’m inclined to date this cover Feb 26, 1851.
