The Adams’ Boston 1848 city directory lists a Peter S. Wheelock as a counsellor at 35 Court Street and residing at 134 Harrison Avenue.
Peter Sleeman Wheelock (1810-1885) was an attorney and police judge in Boston.
Thomas Prince Beal (1786-1852) lived in Kingston, Mass and married Betsey Sampson (1790-1869). His personal papers are in the Winterthur Library in Deleware. His profession is unclear but the library speculates that he may have been a lawyer.
Another source has Thomas Prince Beal as an attorney, passing the bar in Plymouth in 1812. In 1827 and 28 he served in the Mass House of Representatives and in the Mass sSenate around 1845 (Bench and Bar of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, William Thomas Davis, p227)
