IT IS A GENUINE USAGE
Lot 2440 5c Brown (1). Large margins to clear, rich color, tied by manuscript X, black West River Md. Feb. 7 circular datestamp on lady's small cover with hand-colored embossed flower at upper left to Harrisonburg Va., some slight edgewear, Very Fine, this is the only reported use of the 1847 Issue from West River, with 2009 P.F. certificate E. 400-500
