United States Scott 2 10-cent issue on folded letter cover paper
Attractive cover paper as pictured, no interior letter (just cover page). Stamp with blue "PAID" cancel and Baltimore circle cancel to side. Some very light spottiness stains on cover (a few on stamp), some removed tape and tape residue off an attempted repair of a tear on front and back, stamp is, aside from the few specks of stain, in nice condition.

Letter to Henry Augustus Gilliam (1819-1891) who was a lawyer in Windsor, NC and was a colonel in the CSA serving in the 17th regiment of the North Carolina infantry.
