Lot 64 1847: Washington 10 c. black on blued paper, a fine used example with large margins all round and portion of adjoining stamp at base, used on 1848 double rate entire letter to Binghampton, New York, tied by manuscript pen strokes. 'Baltimore / Md.' despatch cds in blue at left (Aug 30). A fine entire with interesting content regarding the purchase of a gun made by Chance. Cert.
