On Sept 13, 1847 written and mailed letter with a 10 cent stamp with a portrait of George Washington paid up to Boston, transported with the Caledonia to Liverpool from September 16th until 29th, English transit cancellation JO/20SEP29/1847, first wrong estimated, then with 1 sh. 6 d debit, in Bremen the guiding cancellation and 12 ggr. debit, 14 ggr. Postage of Hanover, date of arrival stamp not readable.
