The envelope is addressed to Miss Sarah Catherine Rush in the care of Col. Lloyd, Wye House. Col. Lloyd was the sixth generation of plantation owners to occupy the Wye House in Talbot Count (home of the famous Wye Oak) and the Colonel held office in the state Senate from 1851-1852.
