Lot 1692 United States US 5 cent Franklin on a December 1850 cover from Baltimore Md. To Philadelphia. Marked “paid” and “Due 5”. Cover with numerous wrinkles and creases. Kind of tied with nondescript orange grid after the obligatory pen cancel. The stamp is just four margins centered F-VF, while the cover has a file fold through the stamp. As is as found.
