Very interesting and attractive postal cover (outer wrapper complete, but no contents) with US Scott # 1 stamp tied red gridiron postmark, blue Baltimore, Maryland, Nov 9 (1850) postmark at left, to Winchester, Virginia. Stamp catalogs $675 on cover in Scott U.S. Specialized Catalog, 2007 ed. Fine-very fine condition, central vertical filing crease, stamp has three margins, touches frame line at left
