Daniel W. Dorman (1807-1859) was the US Collector of Customs in Machias, Washington Co., Maine in 1853 & 1854. Ancestry.com lists him as a blacksmith who lived in Cherryfield, Me.
Daniel T. Granger (1807-1854) was a lawyer in Eastport, local politician and represented the town in the state legislature in 1836. He was the Eastport town moderator from 1843-1850.
