1847, 10¢ black (Scott No. 2). Large margins at sides, clear at bottom but just in at top, superb impression, tied by black grid and matching "STEAM" handstamp on Dec. 14, 1848 folded cover to New Orleans from St. Louis, marking repeated at center, fresh and Fine. Estimate $2,000-3,000.
