Dec 17" Postmark on 1849 folded letter to Athens Ga, stamp with three large margin (in at top) and manuscript cancel, folded letter very slight reduced at left and a few other small flaws, Scarce Usage, One of Two covers with the 10c 1847 recorded from Monroe, La by Alexander and one of only 14 covers recorded by Alexander from Louisiana that was not used from New Orleans, Fine (Scott $1,600 )
