Lot 50 5c Brown Orange (1b), horizontal pair, large to immense margins, magnificent deep rich color, sharp clear proof-like impression, finish strangely blued paper, left stamp with natural pre-printed paper wrinkles, tied by blue grids on folded cover to Logansport, Pa., matching Louisville Ky Aug 18 datestamp, docketed annotation on reverse Augst 1847, light vertical cover file fold.
Very fine and magnificent cover, Kentucky usages are relatively scarce.
