#2, sheet margin, cut in at bottom copy, small faults, manuscript cancel, file fold ties to FLS datelined Mills Point, KY, SEP 3, 1848 FLS has manuscript Hickman, KY SEP 5 postmark and bold manuscript "Paid by Stamp" at upper right. Cover is listed in Alexander's cover census of 1847 issues and is the only recorded use from Hickman, Kentucky, which received only 200 10 cent stamps. 1999 PFC.
