Notes
#1, 5c Red brown, margins to just along the frame on two sides, affixed on very petite lady's cover to Cincinnati, Ohio by wax seal, black ms. cancel and light red "Georgetown/Ky/Jul.15" c.d.s., fine and attractive; an unrecorded first issue usage, a large portion of the recorded covers of Kentucky are used from Louisville, this small town is located about equal distance east of Louisville and south of Cincinnati, no first issue stamps were delivered to the Georgetown post office so it is quite likely that the stamp was carried there by someone from one of those two larger cities, a wonderful and rare cover for the Kentucky or 1847 issue postal history collector
