William Caldow ran a dry goods store at 96 W 5th Street. (Williams 1849 Cincinnati Directory)
Letter to Sarah Liticia Beatty (1824-1904). She emigrated from Ireland and worked for William Caldow before marrying William Smith (1824-1872) on Nov 18, 1848. His foundational trade was in woodworking and timber construction, but later censuses listed him as a teamster in Cincinnati.
