1847, 5¢ red brown (1), large to ample margins, gorgeous rich shade, pen cancel, red "Springfield Ill. Feb 23" c.d.s. and matching straight-line "Paid" handstamp, on 1848 folded letter to Shelbyville, neat vertical filing crease passes through right of stamp, Fine and attractive cover.
