1847, 5¢ dark brown (No. 1a), large even margins, grayish brown shade, worn impression, magenta grid, matching Chicago Ill. Nov. 23 c.d.s. on 1849 folded letter to Monroe, Wis., stamp with tiny margin tear, lifted and put back, the lettersheet lightly cleaned, Very Fine appearance.
