Robert A. Siegel Auction Galleries, Inc. sale 287 realized 290
Alexander listed as 5/26/48
Cover is docketed "sday June 5" by Mrs Swift. The cover could not have been mailed in 1848 when June 5 fell on Monday. 1849, 1850, or 1851 is possible. The other covers in the correspondence suggest an 1851 usage. Since the covers are also numbered, a closer inspection is needed to year date this cover.
