10c Black (2). Large margins to just clear at top, deep shade, cancelled by red grid, light but readable matching "Apalachicola F.Ty. Jul. 10" Florida territorial circular datestamp on 1848 folded letter to Gallatin Tenn., some age spotting and edge splits, still a Fine appearing and scarce 10c 1847 on cover from Apalachicola, fewer than 20 are known and this is the earliest example listed in the Alexander census, with 1978 P.F. certificate
