Scott #1 1847 Issue - 5c Red Brown with four complete frame lines, though close at upper right, the color is unusually vivid, an early impression with strong background engraving lines, cancelled by manuscript cancellation on cover to Brooklyn, New York, with "Washington City, D. C. / May 3" cds, the obverse of the cover is very fresh, three of the four backflaps are missing, only the top flap remains,
