1847, 5¢ dark brown (Scott No. 1a). Large margins, lovely color and nice early impression, tied by blue grid, with clear red "Washington City D.C. Oct 28" c.d.s. on white 1847 envelope with original enclosure to Port Tobacco, Md. stamp has light pre-printing crease at left, Very Fine.
