Daniel Jenifer (1791-1855) was the nephew of Daniel of St. Thomas Jenifer, a signer of the US Constitution. He was also a lawyer, member of the House of Representatives (1831-33, 1835-41), Minister to Austria (1841-45) and register of wills for Charles County, Md. (1846-51).
