Lot 1136 New Haven Ct., 5¢ red brown (No. 1), large to full margins, very fine impression and color from the cleaned plate, tied by twice struck red grids on blue folded cover to Hartford, matching well struck "New Haven Ct. 9 Jul" c.d.s., 1850 docketing on reverse; cover with pinhole opposite "Conn.", Very Fine. Estimate $400-500
