Lot 290 10c Black (2). Horizontal Strip of Three, Pos. l3-15R, Ample to Huge Margins except touched at T. on L., lightened ms. cancels, vaguely tied on Folded Letter to "Honolulu Oahu S.I.," letter datelined "San Francisco Dec.2, 1850" Bold Red "Forwarded By Bush & Co. Lahina" in Truncate Rectangle. The 30c in Postage could be a Single Letter Triple Rate or could have paid the required postage for a "packet" of letter per paragraph 3 of the "Decree Establishing A Post Office In Honolulu" which reads in part, "Ten cents for every single letter not exceeding half an ounce weight, forwarded to, or received from San Francisco, and on packets of more than one letter, ten cents for every additional half ounce.
