It Is A Genuine Usage
Lot 78 10c Black (2), horizontal strip of 5, pos. 16-20L, immense margins showing traces of three adjoining stamps at top, to slightly in at top and or foot on the right pair, orange cork cancels, used on fresh and clean legal size cover to Washington DC, matching Mobile Ala NOV 4 datestamp, portion of flap missing, few light wrinkles affecting the adhesives.
Very fine five times 10c rate for a domestic cover traveling over 300 miles and between two and 2 1/2 ounces, a spectacular multiple rate cover.
