Dated by owner as 1/12/50. Easily mistaken for June ?.
Alexander lists two other covers from Mobile to Gainsville AL in June of 1850 “ 6/11 with a blue cancel and 6/20 with a red cancel. This cover may be source of the 6/11/50 listing (ID #63).

Robert A. Siegel Auction Galleries, Inc. sale 387 realized 72.50
There is doubling in both the month and day. The middle letter in the month is A but the doubling gives it an appearance of a U. The day is 12 but the over-inking may have caused it to be listed as 11 in Alexander’s book.
