PIPEX 2026 was held May 1st – 3rd in Clackamas, Oregon. The show was run by the Northwest Federation of Stamp clubs.
Exhibits from three Society members won awards at the 2026 edition of Pipex. Each of the winning exhibits can be perused online at the PIPEX website. Links to the individual exhibits are also included in this post.
Coming top of the heap was Eric Knapp winning the People’s Choice Award for “The Raven Story Stamp of 2021” (also Multi-frame Large Silver and the APS Award of Excellence Post 1980).
Ralph Nafziger had two exhibits single-frame exhibits medal as follows.
> “A Soldier’s Diary — The World War I North Russia Expedition” won Single-frame Large Vermeil (Also, the George Struble Innovation Award and the AAPE Creativity Award)/
> “Combination First Day Covers of the Fourth Bureau Definitive Issues” won Single-frame Vermeil (Also, the AFDC Award).
