
The Multi-frame Reserve Grand was won by Bill Johnson for his exhibit “James William Denver: The Man & His Times” (also Multi-frame Large Gold, the APS Research Medal and ATA 1st Award).
Three Society members won Multi-frame Large Gold for their exhibits.
- Bob Crossman for “John Butterfield’s Overland Mail Company 1858-1864” (also the USPCS Medallion).
- Jere Dutt for “The Thirteen Cent Liberty Bell Design” (also the AFDCS Award).
- Kenneth Nilsestuen for “The French Congo 1900 Pictorial Issue”.
Ken Trettin whose “Civil War Period Customs Cancels on U.S. Revenue Stamps and Documents” won Multi-frame Large Vermeil (also the American Revenue Association’s Best Multi-frame Medal).
The Single-frame Grand was won by Kenneth Nilsestuen for “The Era of the Algerian Corsair 1597-1830” (also Single-frame GOLD).
Jere Dutt’s second exhibit, “AKA: The Name Changes of a Former French Colony” won Single-frame Vermeil.
