
The 2026 Sarasota stamp show was held January 16-18th at a new location – the Sahib Shriners Event Center in Sarasota, Florida.
Chuck Wooster took the Reserve Grand Award with his exhibit, “The Postage Due Issues of Peru: 1874 to 1948” (also Multi-frame Large Gold).
Two Society members won Multi-frame Large Gold for their exhibits.
- Alfredo Frohlich for “Delaware Postal History – 1773-1847” (also the USPCS Medallion).
- David Mayo for “The U.S. 2¢ Columbian of 1893” (also the USSS Statue of Freedom).
Winding up the multi-frame exhibit winners was Philip Leber whose “Telegraph Centenary Issue of 1944 and its First Day Covers” won Multi-frame Gold.
Single-frame Gold was won by
- Gerald Cross for “Cinchona Missions of World War II Colombia & Ecuador (1942 – 1945)” (also the AAPE Novice Award).
- Tom Lera for “Ship Island Postal Markings: 1862-1865”.
Richard Lomax won Single-frame Large Vermeil with “Robert M. T. Hunter: Lawyer, Statesman, and Prisoner (1830-1887)” won Multi-frame Gold.
