The 2026 Minnesota Stamp show was held 17-19 of July at the Crystal Community Center, Crystal, MN. Two of our members won awards for three of their exhibits.
John Hotchner won the Multi-frame Reserve Grand for his “The U.S. CIPEX Souvenir Sheet of 1947” (also Multi-frame Large Gold and the AFDC Best FDC Exhibit). John’s “Rejections and Repairs in the U.S. Stamp Production at the BEP: The 3rd Bureau Issue (Washington-Franklin) Era Through the Prexie Era.” won Single-frame Large Gold as well as the Collectors Club of Chicago Gold Award.
Alfredo Frohlich won Multi-frame Large Goldfor “Colombia’s Revenue Stamps 1858 -1908” (also the APS Award of Excellence – Pre 1900 Material).
Congratulations to both exhibitors and perhaps we’ll see a bigger Society contingent at next year’s show.
