The 71st annual Rocky Mountain Stamp Show was held at a new location this year, the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds – Exhibition Halls A & B on May 27-29.
In the George Brett Cup – Court of Honor, Anthony Dewey exhibited The 3¢ Connecticut Tercentenary Issue of 1935 and Its First Days. His exhibit, The D Rate-Change Stamps of 1985 received a Post 1980 Medal. His exhibit, A Postal History of Hartford, Connecticut received Postal History Society and USPCS awards.
Alfredo Frohlich, exhibited his Multi-Frame SCADTA Airmail 1929-1931 exhibit was eligible for the George Brett Cup. He received a Gold Award.
The American First Day Cover Society (AFDCS) – Best Exhibit award was presented to Ralph H Nafziger The 3¢ 1936 Oregon Territory Issue exhibit.
