Inaugural Meeting of the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the USPCS

On Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, Bill Schultz (Regional VP, PA-DE) and Mark Schwartz (Director and Asst. Treasurer) hosted the first meeting of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Society. Held in West Chester, Pa., it featured Pat Walker, past-President of the Society and current ex-officio member of the board, who presented “Baltimore Postal History” to nearly 24 attendees. The presentation was extremely well received and refreshments were served.

Bill and Mark hope to have four meetings per year at various sites in the Greater Philadelphia. Based on the sign-in sheet about 50% were USPCS members.

Congratulations to Mark and Bill on a very successful first meeting!
