This page will track changes that I make to the USPCS web site, no matter how small. So when you see the date on the header change, you do not have to ponder what is new & where it is. July 04, 2010: The Web Chronicle goes live. Some "cool facts" about the new Digital Chronicle:

  • 224 issues from 1948 thru 2009; 2010 issues will be added starting next month
  • Search Results For: All articles, editorials, book reviews, obituaries, classified advertisements and display advertisements in all issues (1948-2009) produces 7816 individual listings.
  • Individual listings are bookmarked within each PDF. Tables of Contents are linked directly to articles.
  • PSA employed "byte-serving" technology to enable PDFs to open directly to the selected article, rather than at the first PDF page.
  • PSA developed a custom philatelic full text search engine. Features include: A total of six million word are indexed for searching, with nearly 14,000 pages are indexed.

    June 30, 2010: We now have 12 copies of U. S. POSTAL MARKINGS, 1851-1861, 2nd ed, by Thomas Alexander in stock.
