Dec. 24" c.d.s. on 1845 folded letter to William G. Pettus, St. Charles, Mo., matching "Paid" handstamp and manuscript "Paid 5"; some wear along file fold, stamp with natural inclusion in margin at left, Very Fine, handsome and rare. ¨Scott $10,000 ¨¨We record only eleven Bears (including two pairs) with full corner sheet margins.
