Rich color, large margins to barely in including part of the adjoining stamp in the plate at the lower right. Tied by an off-struck "Philada. Pa 5cts May 13" blue circular datetestamp, a second strike of which was struck in the middle of the obverse.
Blue-paper May 13, 1851 letter (with some edge wear at right) from Barbour Brothers enclosing a bank draft (now gone) and addressed to a bank cashier in Columbia, Pennsylvania. Vertical re-folding fold through center--well away from the stamp.
