¨Vertical pair tied to folded letter by blue grid cancels. Top copy, full 4-margins; bottom copy margins large to just in at bottom. Indistinct blue town cancel upper right (letter docketed New Bedford, 11/12/50). Writer leaving next day for New York to catch a steamer to Panama (a pestiferous region ). File fold does not affect stamps or cancels. Very fine. Cat $1535.
