Need Your Help: I am doing research on the various formats of U.S.
Postmaster Appointment commission documents (both Presidential and Postmaster
General signed through 1920), and the various types USPOD forms, letters
notifying postmasters of their appointments or dealing with matters relating
to the appointment, such as Oath forms, transmittal letters, etc. I would like
to obtain information about such items and scans of any such documents anyone
might have. Also interested in similar scans of any similar Confederate
Post Office Department materials. Scans at 300 dpi preferred.

Need Your Help: I am looking for anyone with information regarding the
current status of the Dollar Value Columbian cover survey-census, which was
prepared by Dr. Richard M. Searing, and published in several issues of
The Chronicle in 1992. Efforts to contact Dr. Searing have been unsuccessful,
but hope that someone may have taken over this Census, or knows where any records,
scans, or additional information accumulated since the publication might be.

Need Your Help: Idaho Territiral Postmark Catalog urgently seeking photocopies or scans of Idaho postal
