The USPCS was a convening society at the San Diego 2024 show held February 23 - 25 at the San Diego Mission Valley Hilton. The Society’s board met to conduct annual business including approving new officers and awarding service and achievement medals (reported elsewhere on the website). Three members delivered insightful talks and, as usual, members did well with their exhibits.

Jeffrey Foster Honored for Society Contributions
Jeff Forster was a prominent philatelic exhibitor and prolific author focusing on the 1869 pictorial issue. He was also the U. S. Philatelic Classics Society Attorney and a generous donor to the Society.
Jeffrey passed away in August, 2022. In his memory, a new website section has been created for the publications of the 1869 Pictorial Research Associates, specifically the 1869 Society Times and 1869 Registers.
Issues for The Times, a newsletter have been posted for 1975-1990. The Register is a 100+ page journal, covering the years 1976-1982. Both publications are searchable.
